A powerful concert and panel event celebrating the Black women who’ve shaped blues history—from Big Mama Thornton to Etta James—and the rising female artists carrying that legacy forward. The evening will include live performances, a panel discussion with music historians and contemporary musicians, and video tributes. All proceeds benefit female-led arts education initiatives and mentorship programs supported by the John Lee Hooker Foundation.
