Refund Policy

Donations

All donations made to the John Lee Hooker Foundation, whether one-time or recurring, are considered final and non-refundable. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and will be used to support our mission-driven programs and services.

Donation Error Corrections

If you believe you made an error in your donation (e.g., incorrect amount, duplicate charge), please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. We will make every reasonable effort to investigate and resolve the issue.

Note: Refunds for donations will only be issued in cases of genuine error and at the discretion of the Foundation.

Event Ticket Sales

The Foundation hosts a variety of events including concerts, educational workshops, cultural celebrations, and fundraising galas.

Ticket Refunds

All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be provided unless an event is canceled or rescheduled by the Foundation.
In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be offered the option of a full refund or the opportunity to donate the ticket amount to support our mission.
If an event is postponed, tickets will automatically be valid for the rescheduled date. Refunds may be requested within 10 days of the announcement of the new date.

No-Show Policy

We are unable to issue refunds for missed events due to personal reasons or scheduling conflicts. However, we encourage you to reach out in advance if your attendance is impacted by an emergency.

Processing of Refunds

Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been processed.
